King’s Island Primary Care Centre was established with one clear goal in mind; to deliver the best in medical services to the people of Limerick in one easy-to-access location. Our 11,000 square foot purpose-built premises is located on King’s Island in the city and offers three key medical services under one roof.

Our medical centre is operated by Dr. Richard Murray, who’s well known practice has built a strong reputation serving the people of Limerick for over 50 years.

The King’s Island Pharmacy is a family owned business operated by the O’Sullivan family, who also have a very strong relationship with Limerick people, operating a group of local pharmacies since the opening of their O’Connell Avenue branch in 1926.

King’s Island Primary Care Centre also offers a HSE branch, providing key HSE services from a convenient, central location.
